Don Hoffman has nurtured disc golf for Wisconsin. Decades ago he was an ace scribe for DiscGolfer, adopting the pen name Duster. Duster Don is a prolific course designer whose work spans the state of Wisconsin. As a fierce competitor with a masterful sidearm, Duster had many impressive finishes at the PDGA Worlds. He is credited as tournament director for the Mad City Open, a TD of the 1998 Amateur Worlds, and for introducing disc golf to the Badger State Games. A spirited leader making sacrifices for others, Duster Don is the beloved Pioneer of Wisconsin Disc Golf.

Joe Feidt

Since 1977, Joe Feidt has been Minnesota’s first disc golf mover and shaker. He was the founder of several major state tournaments including the Minnesota Majestic and the Minnesota State Disc Golf Championships. Joe’s optimism shined by launching initiatives with the Minnesota Frisbee Association and at the international level by welcoming Europe and Scandinavia to the PDGA.

As the earliest publisher and now editor of DiscGolfer magazine, he continues to promote our sport with enthusiasm. For his positive outlook and far-reaching achievements, disc golfers remember Joe Feidt as the Father of Disc Golf in Minnesota.

Brent Hambrick embodied an intense love and passion for disc golf. His warmth, charisma, and candid demeanor made Brent an extraordinary ambassador for the sport. While well known on the tour as a lion-hearted competitor, he was also a champion of drawing people into disc golf, patiently teaching, encouraging, and sharing his immense enthusiasm. Brent’s tenacity in producing a new model of excellence and professionalism for tournaments united his community and inspired a new standard within the disc golf world to present our sport at its finest.

The Brent Hambrick Memorial Tournament has become both a premier stop on the pro tour and a generous contributor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Brent Hambrick raised the bar for the potential of disc golf by combining outstanding sportsmanship and performance with an unparalleled commitment to the greater good.

has been a selfless steward to disc golf since the infancy of our sport. With a keen focus on the beauty of the game, he is the architect of twenty-plus disc golf courses in Northern California. He has answered to his own call for duty hosting series of events for decades. A tireless hands-on leader, Charlie has graciously passed on the torch to many passionate protégés, many who are now in the Disc Golf Hall of Fame. To so many disc golfers, Charlie is the “Father of Northern California Disc Golf”.

is a big personality in the sport of disc golf. He has been one of the driving forces of disc golf in the Mid-West since the 70's. Always a big man, Brian became one of the first power players travelling across the United States. He has installed many courses and run more than a hundred events, including the 2010 World Championships. He has always been a complete disc golf entrepreneur and has tutored generations of Northern Indiana tournament directors. He is one of the nicest, funniest, most welcoming individuals you will ever meet. Brian Cummings really is a gentle giant…a giant of disc golf.

Armed with four discs and immense skill, he amazed galleries at six PDGA Worlds, four times on the top card. Tenacious as a competitor, he inspired and challenged other top players to achieve their best. Able to communicate with anyone, he became a disc golf ambassador, teacher, and mentor on three continents. His wildly spontaneous musical, comedic, and artistic talent has made him a legendary figure who truly embodies the spirit of Frisbee. grew up on Toronto Island where he discovered flying disc sports in 1978. By age sixteen, he was the overall Canadian Open Champion. Driven to win, “Sully” was renowned for using superb driving form and power to master a disc golf course. His record includes several Worlds top five finishes, World Doubles titles, and the World Games silver medal. As an athlete and as a successful businessman, he exemplifies professionalism. Michael’s love of the game is reflected in his generous contributions towards disc sports in Ontario. He will always be a great player and friend of disc golf.
