A champion sportsman and promoter, Royce started his disc golf career in 1975 by offering to help local tournament directors. Twenty-five years later, he has not stopped helping the flying disc community. His involvement in the Can-Am Series has helped bring disc golf to the entire northeast. His dedication as Director of the 1999 World Championships produced a classic event. Of the people known as “Mr. Disc Golf”, Royce is at the top of the list.

Tom Schot, a World Champion in 1991, is known for his promoting of 10 World Disc Championships, 15 Master’s Cup Tournaments and designing the world reknowned De LaVeaga Disc Golf Course. Tom’s passion for the sport of disc golf has been reported to Sports Illustrated and the New York Times. Tom’s foresight to new ideas has led disc golf to a higher level. He hopes to continue his legacy.
