Salaz is a champion whose skills with a disc are rivaled only by his tireless
commitment to course development. His peers recognized him with the Bob
West Sportsmanship Award in 1999. He introduced the disc golf exercise
tool and distance enhancement device known as “The Equalizer.” Fred is
responsible for the installation, maintenance, and improvements at the world
class Idlewild Disc Golf Course, a par seventy-two masterpiece design that tests
every aspect of a professional’s game. He continues to succeed
brilliantly in reaching new players by collaborating with northern
Kentucky park
officials. Always giving back to
the sport, Fred Salaz is a true gentleman representing disc golf.

Since 1981, Michael
Travers has acted as a quiet influence in disc golf. To date, he has won
nineteen Nor Cal “Player of the Year” awards. His numerous tournament wins
include a victory at the World Flying Disc Championships. To excel, he has
demonstrated ultimate sportsmanship, exceptional putting ability, and unselfish
teamwork. Many describe his scenic valley course designs as “ahead of their

directed. Michael empowers many players involved in the Sky Catz Disc Golf
Club and the Nor Cal Series. He is a mentor who gets the job done with spiritual
